W00t! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to read all the great fic that is going to come out of this fest, so let’s get to it! First a quick review of the rules and then you can be off to claim!
Prompt Claiming:
~To claim a prompt, comment here with the prompt number and tell us if you’re claiming it for fanfic, fanart or both.
~You may claim more than one prompt, but please keep it reasonable. Don’t claim ten prompts unless you believe you can fic/art them all. You may also claim the same prompt for both fanfic and fanart.
~Prompts may be claimed by more than one person and you may claim your own prompt. Also, you did not have to submit a prompt in order to claim a prompt.
Submission Requirements:
~Your submission(s) for the Harlequin Kradam Fest must be new.
~All fic must be Kris/Adam. This is not the place for Kris, Adam friendship fic or Gen fic.
~All ratings are welcome.
~The term ‘harlequin’ implies romance. Additionally, Harlequin fic most generally have a happy ending. Very angsty fic that doesn’t have a happily ever after for the boys, or fic that includes character death is probably not appropriate for this comm.
If you’re still not sure what we mean by the term ‘Harlequin’, check out the eHarlequin writing guidelines.
Posting:
~Your subject line should follow this format:
Fanfic (or Fanart): Title, Rating by Author Name
~You may post your submission here or a merely link to it. If you post your Fanfic here, please put the story itself behind a cut. If you post your Fanart here, everything except two or three teaser icons or thumbnails must be placed behind a cut. Anything not-worksafe must be placed behind a cut. Get the idea? *g*
The only exception is that if your journal is locked you must post your fic here so that it is available to everyone.
~Please include an appropriate header outside the cut and include the prompt in your header so we all know what you wrote.
~Your fic should be complete and posted all at once. Two parters or chaptered fic is welcome, but the fic must be finished and posted in its entirety.
~Fic/Art may be posted to the comm from July 6 through October 31, when the Fest officially closes.
Regarding the Spreadsheet:
1. The spreadsheet shows the prompts in the order they were submitted.
2. In List View you may filter the prompts by trope by clicking on the Trope header.
3. You may download the spreadsheet into Excel, as well as several other formats. Please keep in mind, however, that the database will continue to be updated with new and completed claims.
Archiving at AO3:
~For those of you who archive your fic at AO3, we have a Harlequin Kradam collection, with a sub-collection for our seventh fest: Harlequin Kradam Round Seven.
~To claim a prompt, comment here with the prompt number and tell us if you’re claiming it for fanfic, fanart or both.
Complete List of Prompts
If you have any questions about this round specifically, please ask them here; if you have questions about the fest generally, please ask them at the Q&A Post.

Date: 2014-07-07 08:15 pm (UTC)P.S. Is there any way to copy and paste the prompt so I can put the prompt in my Word Document so I don't forget the details of the prompt while I'm writing?

Date: 2014-07-07 08:22 pm (UTC)If you go to List View you can c&p from the prompt box, but I've included it here for you:
Kris Allen, divorced pop star, can't keep a PA. They all fall in love with him and when the feelings aren't returned, they leave in tears. Kris has tried to be meaner, but he dosn't have it in him. His management is getting fed up. Now he is scheduled to leave on a world tour and he once again has no PA. He is assigned Adam Lambert, someone reserved for only the most diffcult of clients. After meeting Adam, Kris soon realizes that this time, he is likely the one that will end up in tears.
Also, please note that the numbers changed in List View because the headers aren't included as a row in the spreadsheet in that view *head desk*, so in List View your prompt is #23.
