Rules

General Community:

1. This is a Kris/Adam RPS community. If that’s not your cup of tea, please move along.

2. Both Fanfic and Fanart submissions will be accepted.

2a. Fanart includes (but is not necessarily limited to) the following: Animated Buttons, Banners/Headers, Book Covers, Colorbars, Fanmixes, Icons, Manips, Music Vids, Wallpapers.

3. Only Fest responses should be posted here. This is not a comm for questions or announcements or pimping your own communities. If you'd like to make a Kradam-related announcement, please contact one of the mods. Any OT posts made without mod approval will be deleted.

4. You must be a member of the community to post, though not to comment.

5. No flames allowed! If you don’t like something, skip it.


Prompt Submission:

6. You need not claim a prompt in order to submit a prompt.

7. There is no limit on the number of prompts you may submit.

8. You may submit general prompts or more specific scenarios. You may submit blurbs off the back of Harlequin romance novels, or scenarios you’ve made up yourself, or mix ‘em up.

General Prompt (Harlequin tropes): marriage of convenience

Specific Scenario: Kris is the son of a wealthy businessman who must marry by his 25th birthday or lose the inheritance he plans to use to make the world a better place; he sees Adam perform one night and is smitten; Kris makes Adam an offer he can’t refuse.

9. Prompts should be Kris/Adam only. Please do not submit prompts requesting Kris/Katy/Adam or Kris/other or Adam/other.

10. No crossover prompts allowed. (You may including other pairings, including crossover RPS pairings, in your fic so long as Kris/Adam is the main pairing, but we'd like to keep the focus of the comm, and therefore the prompts themselves, on Kris and Adam.)


Prompt Claiming:

11. Prompts may be claimed by more than one person.

12. You may claim more than one prompt.

13. You may claim the same prompt for fanfic and fanart if you’d like.

14. You may claim your own prompt.

15. You did not have to submit a prompt in order to claim a prompt.

16. To claim a prompt, comment to the prompt post with the prompt number and tell us if you’re claiming it for fanfic, fanart or both.


Submission Requirements:

17. Your submission(s) for the Harlequin Kradam Fest must be new.

18. All ratings are welcome, though this is not the place for Kris, Adam friendship fic or Gen fic. As a Harlequin Fest, some element of romance is required.

18a. Additionally, the term Harlequin implies a happy ending.

19. Other pairings (including crossover RPS pairings) are allowed in your fic so long as Kris/Adam is the main and ultimate pairing.

Posting:

20. Your subject line should follow this format:

Fanfic (or Fanart): Title, Rating by Author Name

21. You may post your submission here or a merely link to it. If you post your Fanfic here, please put the story itself behind a cut. If you post your Fanart here, everything except two or three teaser icons or thumbnails must be placed behind a cut. Anything not-worksafe must be placed behind a cut. Get the idea? *g*

The only exception is that if your journal is locked you must post your fic here so that it is available to everyone.

22. Please include an appropriate header outside the cut and include the prompt in your header.

23. Your fic should be complete and posted all at once. Two parters or chaptered fic is welcome, but the fic must be finished and posted in its entirety.

24. Fic/Art may be posted to the comm from July 6 through September 30, when the Fest officially closes. (There will not be an amnesty posting period. If you are unable to complete your fic by the close of the fest, you may finish and save it for the next round, opening for prompt submissions on December 15.)
