Notes: First thing I wrote for this was a little under 2000 words and upon rereading it, I decided I didn't like it very much. This is attempt number two, without anything sexy (unless you're counting Kris and Adam) and with magic mixed in. Kind of um YA Harlequin? Is that a contradiction within terms?
